Today we will meet and start our activity at La Base Lamay, in the plaza of this little, charming village in the heart of the Sacred Valley. After filling our bottles with water we will start hiking uphill on a slightly steep slope along the shores of the Carmen river, that carries the waters of the highland lakes and wetlands of Lamay. We will find a wide variety of native trees and plenty of birds. We will return walking down along the water channel, with panoramic views of Lamay and the Sacred Valley. At the end of our activity, we can have lunch at La Base, or move to the hotel or our next destination.
