Today we will meet and start our activity at La Base Lamay, in the plaza of this little and charming village in the Sacred Valley. After filling our bottles with water we will start hiking uphill on a slightly steep slope along the shores of the Carmen river, that carries the waters of the highland lakes and wetlands of Lamy. We will find a wide variety of native trees and plenty of birds. We will return walking way down by the water channel, with panoramic views of Lamay and the Sacred Valley. At the end of our activity we can have lunch at La Base, or move to the hotel or our next destination.
