DEPARTURE AND RETURN

We will walk from the Inca terraces of Urco, along a very little traveled road between traditional farms and ornamental flowers, we will visit the archaeological center of Urco where we will find a large carved stone called ¨el Sapo¨, used by the ancients to interpret the cosmos and predict the weather conditions prior to planting corn, potatoes, quinoa and other products in the area. From there we will walk through a water channel that goes through the Rayanpata community to the Sanctuary of the Bees, in Piste. Along the way we will have spectacular views of Calca and the Sacred Valley. We will also be able to appreciate a great variety of native plants, the majority of which are melliferous (food for bees), among other properties such as medicinal and dyeing. Arriving at the Sanctuary we will enjoy a nutritious and natural lunch, to later discover the world of bees, their organization, their work in plant pollen and the magic in the conservation of biodiversity. End of the activity and return to your hotel or next destination. By doing this activity you will be contributing directly to the conservation of bees and the great biodiversity in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
