HORSEBACK RIDING IN CALCA

Fondo texturizado

Enjoy and connect with horse energy on a family-owned ranch. The ride begins at El Huayllar Ranch in Calca, where we set off towards the community of Llipllec. Along the way, we will enjoy the local landscape, featuring adobe houses and the renowned chicherías (traditional chicha makers).

After passing the small community, we will admire the traditional farmlands cultivated on the mountain slopes. Here, we will recognize the diversity of local crops grown in small plots, such as potatoes, corn, wheat, quinoa, vegetables, and avocado trees. Our journey will lead us to the community’s viewpoint, offering a stunning view of the city of Calca, guarded by the majestic Apu Pitusiray.
